British humor

Hey guys! To day we went out in the city. We took a ride on the London eye, we visited the big ben and even vent to the Madame tussauds museum! I liked Madame tussauds museum the best, it was like to see the celebrities in real life! They looked so real so I had to take many pictures with them. I took a pic with my girl Cara Delevinge for example and Michael Jordan:):) They are all on my instagram so you can check it out if you want:*

One thing that I have notice is quite different from home in Norway, is the British humor! They use so much sarcasm in their humor; I think I’m going crazy soon. I am not sure that like their humor.. Many of the British humor television shows are actually famous all around the world, it seems like everyone likes the British humor. Here are some jokes:

-How does every English joke start?

-by looking over your shoulder.

I really didn’t understand this one...

-Did you hear about the winner of the English beauty contest?

- Me neither.

-Why wasn't Jesus born in England?

-He couldn't find 3 wise men or a virgin.

HAHAHHAHA it’s so funny.

I have actually talked to a few people who have moved from one other country to England. Every one I have asked has said that they don’t understand the British humor, even after all these years they have lived in England.
The British humor is a bitter, sarcastic and a dry humor. It is often used to describe something that’s not funny. They can joke about the most serious things and still think it is hilarious.
At school I often hear many example of British humor, it can be funny some times, but most of the time I don’t get it. I think you have to be British to understand the British humor haha.
I like the Norwegian humor much better, I don’t really know what I like about the Norwegian humor, I am just so used to it that I think it is funny I think. Not everything in Norwegian humor is funny, but at least I get it and here in Norway we do not use so much sarcasm. The jokes here in Norway is often very long and you have to sit and listen to a whole story before you get the joke.
The British television humor shows are the most famous. It is so many of them so when I searched for it on the internet, it came up over a hundred humor television shows. The most famous comedy shows in Britain are ‘’only fools and heroes’’, ‘’blackadder’’ and ‘’the vicar of Dibley’’.  ‘’only fools and heroes’’ is about three men who are always trying to find the best way to get easy money. ‘’blackadder’’ is about English history in a humoristic way. It is actually played by Mr. Bean, not that he is Mr. Bean in the show, but you understand.. ‘’the vicar of Dibley’’ is about a lady who lives in a little town and she is a vicar.
I have never watched a single one of these comedian television shows, but I think I maybe will try to check it out some time. I have to find something to do on my free time here in England, so a British comedian television show would be just fine. If the humor isn’t very dry then..
I don’t know what more I can say about the British humor, but one thing I can say is, it is not a humor for me. Some of the British humor is funny, but most of the time, I don’t get it. I think I will just stay to the Norwegian humor and let the British people keep their humor for themselves.
It is actually quite many British standup comedians in England. Stand up is quite funny actually, so I think I will check out the British standup comedians while I am here in England. The most famous standup comedians in Britain are Russel Howard, Jimmy Carr and Ricky Gervais.
I am getting quite tired of talking about the British humor, so now I am going to drink my afternoon tea and eat biscuits. Maybe I will go out for some more shopping afterwards or maybe even go to see a British standup comedian! It will be a great time anyways.
Byebye my dear blog readers, love almost every one of you. Many kisses from me!

Implements sticks, swords, and handkerchiefs may also be wielded by the dancers. At dances for one or two men, steps are performed around a couple of clay pipes located on the floor between the dancers. There Englishmen who claim that the beginning of the morris dance dating back to 1448, but these are open to controversy. No mention of "morris" dancing before the end of the 15 century ago, although they appear in the records of Bishops "Visitation Articles" friendly sword dances called "mumming". Furthermore, the earliest records always mention "Morys" in a court setting, and both men and women are participants in this dance.
